About PhaseCoatTM Epoxy

PhaseCoatTM Epoxy is used as a barrier coating to protect substrates from corrosion, abrasion, and mechanical contact. PhaseCoatTM Epoxy is a one part organic/inorganic hybrid coating dissolved in isopropyl alcohol. The epoxy resin has been reacted with a silane to produce the hybrid polymer. Crosslinking of the epoxy occurs viz a moisture cure process. This process provides excellent adhesion to steel and some plastics. The coating is resistant to many organic solvents, oils, and hydraulic fluids. The coating can be applied by spray, roll, or brush methods. The coatings can be handled after approximately two hours cure. Full physical properties take 24 hours to develop. Shelf life is greater than one year when stored in original sealed containers.

About PhaseCoatTM Primer

PhaseCoatTM Primer is use in conjunction with many of our products to provide good adhesion to a variety of metal substrates. PhaseCoatTM Primer is a one part epoxy primer dissolved in isopropyl alcohol. The epoxy resin has been reacted with a silane to produce a stable one part coating. Crosslinking of the epoxy occurs viz a moisture cure process. This process provides excellent adhesion to a variety of metals and plastics. The coating can be applied by spray, roll, or brush methods. For best results, the primer should be top coated within 24 hours of application. If the primer has been applied for more than 24 hours, simply apply a new coat of material before top coating. Shelf life is greater than two years when stored in original sealed containers.
